Requirements
In order to maintain competency for the ever-changing needs of this population,
our team has ongoing requirements for maintaining quality of care:
Training in all phases of development of gender nonconforming individuals:
adults, adolescence, and children.
Training in transition families and the unique needs of supporting adults.
Monthly team meetings.
Regular case consultation with the team.
Routine mandatory trainings to remain current.
Understanding the difference in nonbinary and binary identities and how this impacts unique needs.
Maintain and stay up to date of the assessment and diagnostic process.
Our team requires clinicians of our program to engage in advocacy for the community.
