Requirements

 

In order to maintain competency for the ever-changing needs of this population,

our team has ongoing requirements for maintaining quality of care:

 

Training in all phases of development of gender nonconforming individuals:

adults, adolescence, and children. 

​Training in transition families and the unique needs of supporting adults.

​Monthly team meetings.

​Regular case consultation with the team.

​Routine mandatory trainings to remain current.

​Understanding the difference in nonbinary and binary identities and how this impacts unique needs. 

​Maintain and stay up to date of the assessment and diagnostic process.​

 

Our team requires clinicians of our program to engage in advocacy for the community.
