This workshop will identify license violations and discipline that occurred though the state CSWMFT board of Ohio in 2024/2025. Similar lawsuits against licensees will be reviewed to discuss risk management recommendations. Attendees will learn the frequencies and types of the violations that occurred, the discipline associated with these violations, and learn the ethical and legal constructs underlying the violations.

About the Presenter

Dr. Butch Losey is the CEO of Waybridge Counseling and author of several books, including Managing the Aftermath of Infidelity: A Sequential Guide for Therapists and Couples.

Since 2017, Dr. Losey has served on the Professional Standards Committee of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. He was tenured faculty for 12 years at Xavier University in the Department of Counseling. Along with his role as CEO of Waybridge, he is a couples therapist at Waybridge.
