About

As an eating disorder therapist, I specialize in helping adolescents and adults build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with food, body image, and themselves. My work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that maintain disordered eating patterns. I support clients struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, ARFID, body-image concerns, and compulsive exercise. My approach is structured yet validating—I help clients challenge unhelpful beliefs, develop distress-tolerance and emotion-regulation skills, and practice new, recovery-oriented behaviors in real time. I also collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams when appropriate, understanding that healing often requires a holistic support system. My goal is to create a safe, empowering environment where clients can explore their experiences without judgment, understand the function of their symptoms, and gain the tools to build long-term, sustainable recovery. I believe that full recovery is possible, and I am committed to walking with each person through every step of that process.

Professional Achievement

I have been with Waybridge Counseling for nearly three years now. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and my master’s degree from Lipscomb University.
