About
My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences, gaining insight, and building resilience. I believe therapy works best as a partnership, and I actively collaborate with clients to identify goals, understand patterns, and develop coping strategies that feel practical and empowering. While progress looks different for everyone, I focus on helping clients manage symptoms in a way that feels achievable and builds confidence in their own abilities in a timely manner.
I integrate several evidence-based approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. This includes EMDR, which can be highly effective in reducing anxiety, processing traumatic or distressing experiences, and addressing past issues that may be interfering with current functioning. I also incorporate talk therapy and CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier responses to stress. Additionally, I may use parts work to help clients better understand different aspects of themselves with compassion and curiosity. Clients can reasonably expect to gain greater emotional awareness, improved coping skills, increased confidence, and a stronger sense of control as they move forward in their healing process.
Professional Achievement
I bring over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, with a background that includes crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatric care, and behavior modification. I value collaboration and work closely with other clinicians within the practice, particularly when clients feel “stuck” in their progress. Through focused EMDR trauma work, I have helped clients clear unresolved experiences that were interfering with treatment, allowing them to return to their primary clinician with greater clarity, emotional freedom, and momentum. This integrative and team-oriented approach supports meaningful, lasting change and helps clients move forward with confidence.
