About

My approach to care is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I integrate evidence-based practices with skill-building strategies tailored to each individual’s developmental level and goals. Treatment typically begins with building rapport and conducting a thoughtful assessment to understand needs, strengths, and areas for growth. From there, we establish clear, attainable goals and engage in structured, skills-focused sessions that may include emotional regulation strategies, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and social or coping skill development. I also value collaboration with families, schools, or other support systems when appropriate to ensure consistency and holistic care. Clients can reasonably expect to gain practical tools to manage stress, improve emotional awareness and regulation, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in navigating challenges. While growth takes time and active participation, many clients experience increased resilience, improved communication, healthier coping patterns, and a stronger sense of self-efficacy as therapy progresses.

Professional Achievement

I have experience working in both school and clinical settings, supporting children and adolescents with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs. My background includes providing individual and group counseling, leading skill-based prevention groups, supporting trauma-informed practices, and collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. I have also worked as a clinical counseling intern, where I provided therapeutic services, conducted assessments, developed treatment plans, and supported clients in building healthy coping strategies and resilience.
