In-Office: Dayton Virtual: OH My specialty is working with children, family, and adolescents. I have a background in working with this population in a behavioral health setting. I received training in play therapy and trauma-focused therapy. I prefer a collaborative approach when working with children and families to support the entire system towards growth. I have experience working with families facing many unique challenges that stem from abuse, neurodivergence, caretaking, and disabilities. I have experience working with a variety of mental health issues and neurodivergent diagnoses, including autism, ADHD, disruptive/impulse/conduct disorders, depression, and anxiety. In addition to using play therapy, I also have training in trauma-focused integrated play therapy and trauma-focused CBT. I have experience working with the neurodivergent population and their families who are dealing with challenging behaviors. I work with families to understand the function of the behavior, and how to address and reshape those behaviors. I work with adults dealing with anxiety and depression, and dealing with challenges stemming from loss, trauma, and other life stage transitions. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling, using humanistic, cognitive, or behavioral therapies designed for the individual. I am studying and building upon specializing in substance recovery, applying harm reduction psychotherapy in my work. Currently, I am in my final year at Capella University for a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

In-Office: Dayton Virtual: OH I am interested in working with couples and relationships, and I am developing this focus through intensive training that includes reflecting teams and co-therapy with diverse couples. My interest spans working with partners navigating conflict, communication challenges, infidelity, sexual concerns, and intimacy issues. My goal is to help couples strengthen communication, build trust, deepen intimacy, and enhance connection. I am actively studying and applying Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), while also training in systemic-based approaches, including attachment theory and parts work. In addition to couples counseling, I work with individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, trauma, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I am building specializations in sex therapy and religious trauma. Many individuals and couples encounter emotional, mental, or physical difficulties related to sex, and I aim to help them overcome these barriers to foster personal confidence and relational fulfillment. Likewise, because spirituality influences many aspects of identity, religious trauma can have wide-reaching effects on a person’s well-being. I work to help clients recognize, process, and heal from the lasting impact of religious trauma. I am currently in my final year of a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University. I am supervised by Caitlin Yilmazer, LPCC-S.
