In-Office: Scottsdale | Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Panic Disorders I specialize in concerns that are rooted in Anxiety or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I work with pre-teens, young adults and adults regarding Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic/Phobias, Sport Performance stress, or anxiety brought on by a major life transition such as blending families, medical diagnosis, school adjustment or coping with grief. Repetitive intrusive thoughts or compulsions can be related to OCD. Thankfully, there are solution focused approaches we can cultivate to provide healthier responses to each person's unique symptoms. I utilize evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ERP, ACT and mindfulness based techniques that are customized to each client. My goal is that each client will gain an understanding of their own strengths, and their new customized tools - to create positive transformations within their own lives.

In-Office: Scottsdale | Treatment for Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse I specialize in trauma therapy for individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, or other overwhelming and life-altering experiences. Trauma can affect your sense of safety, relationships, and self-worth long after the events have passed. I provide a supportive, trauma-informed space where healing happens at your pace and your experiences are met with understanding and respect. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and trauma-informed therapy to help clients process painful memories, reduce emotional distress, and rebuild a sense of safety and control. Therapy goes beyond talking about what happened — we work together in a structured way to support lasting relief and meaningful change. Clients often leave therapy feeling more emotionally regulated, less overwhelmed by traumatic memories, and more empowered to move forward with confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

In-Office: Scottsdale | Childhood and Complex Trauma Treatment I provide individual therapy for children and adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, and challenges with self-esteem. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or stuck, often noticing that past experiences continue to shape their present lives. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where clients of all ages can feel understood and supported as they work toward healing and meaningful change. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and nervous system responses, while developing practical tools for coping and emotional regulation. I am especially passionate about supporting adults who are processing the impact of childhood experiences such as emotional neglect, instability, or complex trauma. Therapy can be a space to make sense of these experiences, strengthen self-compassion, and move toward greater clarity and confidence. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, or self-esteem, I strive to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to help each client build insight, recognize their strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Mi pasión es ayudar a individuos y parejas a sanar, crecer y reconectarse. Soy un terapeuta con enfoque informado en trauma y amplia experiencia trabajando con parejas e individuos. In-Office: Scottsdale | Couples Therapy for Infidelity and Communication Problems I work specifically with couples who are recovering from infidelity, are dealing with difficulties in communication, find it difficult to talk without arguing, or have problems intimately connecting. My process for couples therapy is systemic, transformational and experiential. My hope is that you will gain a greater understanding of yourself and your partner, which will create transformation in your relationship. I create the session experience so that you will consistently experience each other in a positive, growth-oriented way. You will not come in and "chat with the therapist" about the problem, but work with each other as I coach you through necessary and difficult discussions so that you can create transformative change in your relationship. You will be encouraged to implement healthy strategies, challenged to stop problematic behaviors and taught skills to be a stronger, better couple. At the end of therapy, you should expect to have a better understanding of each other's needs, be better at talking about difficult topics, have increased intimacy between the two you, and have healed the pain that brought you to therapy. My Books: --Unwelcome Guest: Intrusive Thoughts, Rumination, and the Complexities of Healing After Infidelity --Managing the Aftermath of Infidelity: A Sequential Guide for Therapists and Couples --Creating an Effective Couples Therapy Practice --Bullying, Suicide and Homicide
