Rose Diaz-Vazquez

In-Office: Scottsdale | Virtual: AZ, OH My interest is to work with children, adolescents, and early adulthood for general mental health. I am also part of a grant that focuses on providing support to transition-aged youth with visual impairments who are transitioning from school to further education or the world of work. I can help with depressive disorders, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders. I can work with families and can serve as a liaison between school and family.

In-Office: Scottsdale, Mesa | Virtual: OH, AZ I provide counseling for individuals who suffer from anxiety disorders, panic disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and structural strategies to assist children, adolescents and adults manage the multidimensional aspects of anxiety disorders. I am currently a master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at The University of Arizona under the supervision of Dr. Butch Losey. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University Channel Islands in 2018.

In-Office: Scottsdale | Virtual: OH, AZ My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, healing environment for clients to work through difficult emotions, process trauma, express their authentic selves, or learn how to navigate the world around them. I work with clients experiencing difficulties such as life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional/behavioral dysregulation, and relational issues. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life at whatever stage they may be in. My approach is holistic with training in multiple techniques, so I tend to utilize approaches that best fit your individual needs. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2015 and am currently obtaining my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. My previous experience includes school based services, inpatient behavioral health, and providing crisis relief to the community. I am currently under the supervision of Dr. Losey.

In-Office: Scottsdale | Virtual: OH, AZ I collaborate with adolescents, young adults and adults on issues that are impacting their daily lives – such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, parenting, and sports related mental performance development. Each individual has their own unique strengths and I work with them to cultivate tools and personal interventions that can assist them during challenging times. I utilize a client-centered approach which allows for a collaborative environment throughout the therapy process. As a trained mindfulness facilitator, I also work with groups of all ages, who would like to incorporate mindfulness-based approaches and resources into their personal routines. I am currently obtaining my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. Having previously worked under the direction of Susan Kaiser Greenland at Inner Kids, I am currently being supervised by Dr. Butch Losey.
